However, many teams still do not follow to model and I was stuck on a rule following team with little to no flexibility. It all comes down to your manager and the team you're on whether you need to be in the office. - My manager was a super micromanager. It got so draining that I couldn't take it anymore. My manager made many rude and condescending comments over the years and tended to talk behind others backs, which I thought was very unprofessional. - I didn't get a raise in two years. In this economy, I had to look for a better paying job to pay my bills. - No room to grow in my career.
