Pros

Extremely laid-back. You're not glued to a desk. Not forced to abide by a dress-code. The work is easy when the instructions are clear. You're allowed some creative freedom, and many of the other employees in different departments are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The pay is comfortable as well.

Cons

Oof. Where to even begin? First, the company virtue signals HARD. I mean, they cover every base. Bases you didn't even know existed. So much so that you can't help but sense the artificiality of it all. It's so exaggerated and dishonest, Stevie Wonder could see it. Pay close enough attention, and it'll be revealed that THEY don't even believe what they're saying. As the headline says, even salt looks like sugar. Professionally speaking, "Managers" don't coach you, manage you, or even communicate with you honestly/constructively. They penalize/punish you if you don't correct the hidden offenses you made that they never told you about. You're expected to manage yourself, but you're not given the rights or basic information that self-management requires. They'd prefer to fire employees than promote those who've outgrown their position. Supervisors/Managers are threatened by even the smallest whiff of dissent. Decisions are primarily, regularly made based on fear. Working for VERSES can be stress-inducing if you lack the fortitude, and tough to navigate if you struggle with deciphering the meaning behind what you were told. Because make no mistake, what was said was probably not what was meant. And I'll leave you, reader, with this piece of advice: If they talk bad about them to you, please believe they'll talk bad about you to them. Don't engage.
