      Pros

      VELUX treats their employees good and working for them has a lot of perks, The sales office in Fort Milll, SC is a beautiful example of their work and is visually stunning, with hundreds of skylights overhead that can electronically open, close, and lower interior blinds. They frequently offer employees chances to get out to events and provide plenty of marketing collateral (umbrellas, tumblers, clothing , etc.)

      Cons

      The marketing and design department was completely restructured and not necessarily with the best, most qualified people, but with people who were buddies with the executives. There were new hires brought on board because they knew someone, and vastly more qualified employees were let go.

      Pros

      I've been with Velux for a relatively short time, but without a doubt, this is where I'll be forever. I don't normally write reviews, but I feel that it is important to share. This company has some of the kindest, most remarkable human beings. This company brought out a passion in me that I haven't felt in a long time. I've been with similar companies with similar values before, and I know far too well what it's like drinking the Kool-aid. This is different. I would give the shirt off my back for the people here, not because I need to or because they ask me to, but because I want to.

      Cons

      Not a con, I think it's hard to really understand for some people what it's like to work for a company with an international structure. It's going to have its nuances, and those nuances are sometimes hard to explain. But when you get to start understanding the WHY, you start to realize that everything makes a lot of sense.
