Pros
Good benefits especially if you have a child at the hospital, large hospital network with several supporting staff (patient care techs, radiology nurses, etc.), ladder system with small pay increase.
Cons
Low pay, definitely below national pay scale or region for that matter. High turnover, and often understaffed with techs especially during first and second shifts. Not tremendous growth potential outside of the ladder which takes a minimum of ten years to complete.
