Pros
After being laid off by a fortune 50 Banks I joined through campus placement at IIM B, I was facing problems explaining recruiters about my short stint - many didn't know about the 'recession' either back then and blindly followed their recruitment process. I started looking at Start Ups but didn't want to join another ETailer and wanted to somehow remain in the BFSI industry. Met the promoter and Director of VCS in a forum and was impressed with the cutting edge solutions they were providing in a stealth mode! Not many in my batch had ever heard of VCS - they didn't even have a formal website in those days:) What I have achieved at VCS, esp with SMT here is a story worth telling and hence I am going to pen it down as a Book soon (if allowed)
Cons
All is perfect but we need to sober down our 'Social Media Policy' and allow world to know us through our own employees.
