Pros

I work for VCC for a while now, it was always a very good and friendly place to work at. Good people, good intentions, friendly culture.

Cons

As results were slowing down, they hired a new Chief Revenue Officer to shake up the things. He certainly did as now everyone's life is a true hell in the sales team. Whilst overall you would think he is a kind person based on his attitude in public, in private he's overly rude, arrogant, and agressive. Stress-stress-stress, pressure and passive agression is the name of the game - no wonder he's got the nickname "Kill Bill" behind his back. As if it is not enough, he clearly seems to be professionally unprepared, especially when he keeps sending irrelevant and meaningless sales articles and links that have nothing to do with our field or targets. His main new strategy for selling is COLD CALLS like we are in 1999. Many of us are strongly thinking of leaving and although I never ever wanted to write to Glassdoor, this is my anonymous shout out for help to leadership or HR or anyone..... I just can't believe how we got here and how nobody sees what is happening to the team.

Pros

Excellent flexibility: full freedom to work from home or use the office as needed. A small but strong group of dedicated colleagues work hard to drive the company forward. The company’s size supports efficient collaboration across departments without too much bureaucracy.

Cons

Strategic initiatives often stall due to slow and inconsistent decision-making at the executive level. A noticeable portion of the team operates with minimal engagement or impact, and the existing culture does little to challenge this. The founder and CEO deserves credit for building the company from scratch, but his current leadership style – particularly micromanagement and focus on low-priority side projects – limits innovation and progress. Even well-conceived strategic ideas face delays due to limited resources.

Pros

Hybrid working style, respectful attitude towards colleagues, professionally competent colleagues.

Cons

There is certainly room for improvement but this is true for all companies.
