Declining Culture and Growing Turnover - Systems Engineer VC3 Employee Review

Pros

Remote work and semi decent health insurance

Cons

VC3 has changed significantly in recent years, and unfortunately, not for the better. The workload continues to increase while compensation, recognition, and support have not kept pace. Many employees are feeling burned out and undervalued. PTO exists in policy, but in practice, it’s often discouraged or difficult to use without feeling pressure. The company encourages employees to reach out to their People Business Partners, but doing so can sometimes lead to uncomfortable consequences instead of constructive support. Employee and client turnover are both noticeably high, which speaks volumes about the overall health of the organization. Bonuses and raises are rare, and there’s a general sense that leadership is disconnected from the challenges employees face daily. There are talented people here who truly care about their work, but morale has suffered due to poor communication, lack of trust, and minimal appreciation for effort. VC3 has potential, but without meaningful investment in its people, it’s difficult to see a positive path forward.

Pros

Pay was decent compared to similar jobs.

Cons

A lot of issues could have been avoided with better planning. It often felt like everyone was reacting instead of working with a clear process.
