Pros

Learn lots on the job, they let you take courses to deepen your knowledge, and you get to apply knowledge immediately in real business contexts.

Cons

Hours can be unstable, leading to needing a second job to keep ends meet as a college student.

Pros

Very student friendly position. Great for students looking to meet people across majors, learn some basic computer and customer service skills, and work on homework while on the job.

Cons

Management can be difficult to work with. Navigating relationships with management is the biggest hurdle to success in this role, as leadership does not work to maintain relationships with staff and forms opinions based on arbitrary criteria often against a made up reality.
