Pros

Appreciated my time at UTMD for the professional filler on my resume. I learned firsthand just how bad a bad employer can be.

Cons

During my time at UTMD, it felt like the leader was a controlling megalomaniac more concerned with boosting eps than growing the business. With little to no new products, they were saving their way to growth. Regrettably, it made for a hostile environment where good employees left and/or did not speak up.

Pros

-If you have a pulse, you're qualified and they will hire you -They pretend having a college degree is mandatory but many of the product managers and engineers don't have one. People were hired with no experience at all. -4 out of 60 employees who work there are respectful to others and good human beings -Opportunities to advance due to the high turnover rate in the sales department -Good benefits (that they don't like you to use)

Cons

-Odd culture of negativity and condescension that streams down from the top and is completely toxic to the company and the working environment. -No job security. -Agreements and promises are never fulfilled. -No professionalism. -Insufficient training and no structured training to put it mildly. -All training material and most products are outdated, no innovation. -You are expendable, no one is valued. -If you have a suggestion, keep it to yourself, they don't want to hear it. -Complete absents of communication
