      Better salary than some states for a state trial court clerkship. Good benefits. Very interesting work. Good work/life balance.

      Cons

      Salary, but that is expected. Unusual to do a judicial clerkship for the salary.

      The work itself is very fulfilling.

      Cons

      The management structure is geared towards protecting itself at the expense of the regular employee. Any decision they make is final and "for the good of the courts."
