Pros

UserVoice considers themselves a startup, and in a lot of ways they are. Everyone knows and respects each other. Anyone you work with truly cares about the product and not their own personal agenda. Your opinions matter and can help shape the company and its product. The office space is great, they have standing desks, video games, and tons of snacks and beer. Although UserVoice embraces a startup culture, they are an established company that is maturely managed. With competitive compensation and benefits, you never feel like you're gambling your career on the success of a startup. UserVoice has a great work/life balance. Everyone works hard but you don't have to work 60 hour weeks to hit a deadline or keep up.

Cons

Working for a small company is a lot of work. You have to be willing to jump into wide arrays of problems and come up with solutions.

Pros

Great leadership, coworkers, pay, and work-life balance for such a small company. Balanced share of product ownership among every employee. Lots of respect/collaboration and minimal bureaucracy.

Cons

It's an enormous product to be maintained by a small team. There aren't many specialists (i.e. zero job titles like QA tester, database engineer, or even product manager), but the company makes up for it by hiring only the best people. It can be a challenging place to work if you struggle to learn and work on your own.

Pros

The autonomy, 4-day work week, work-life balance, and coworkers are the best part of the job/company. Everyone at the company is always willing to help their coworkers, and feels a personal value in their work.

Cons

Smaller team = slower growth
