Pros

Wonderful team dynamic, everyone is always willing to help or answer questions. It's a small company, so there are plenty of opportunities to take on side projects or explore new ideas. Management is very approachable and has an open desk policy so we can ask questions or get advice whenever we need them. Enjoy working on the new projects and having access to the major companies and players in the greater Seattle area.

Cons

The company is constantly evolving. Processes are set up and replaced so nothing is etched in stone. Need to be self-driven but training is made available whenever you need it. If you like solid processes and a set way of doing things, this might not be the company for you.

Pros

Urgenci is located in the heart of downtown Seattle in the Century Square tower across from Westlake center. The location is fantastic where you can walk a few blocks away to meet with clients in the downtown area. There are a plethora of restaurants in the area that serve cuisines from all over the world. Bussing to and from work is pretty fast and convenient and an Orca card is provided so commuting is no cost to employees. The employees at Urgenci are wonderful. I can genuinely say that I could trust everyone there in that they would always be professional and would never steel leads or take over a candidate you are actively working with. I have been in recruiting environments before where this was not the case. The Managing Director did an excellent job of screening candidates for a good cultural fit and only hired folks that had little to no drama to bring to the workplace.

Cons

The downside of working at Urgenci is that it is a start-up environment. That being said the direction of the company can change quickly and the focus of what you will be working on will rotate frequently. Some folks do well working under these circumstances and others do not. Overall though working there is a positive experience.

Thank you for the feedback. Yes, always a challenge to bring consistency at a start-up and we understand change is disruptive but as we grow and mature we will keep the focus!
