UI provides great opportunities for driven individuals. There is a constant stream of great projects coming in that allow for creatives to try something new. You have the ability to take lead on projects and rethink industry standards. Because of the number of projects you work on, you gain experience quickly and grow as a professional.
Cons
For some, the workload and accountability can be overwhelming. The team is mainly senior-level and work at a very high pace and creative output. You also need to be able to handle clients and present creative rationale in a compelling way. If you don't like face time with clients, Urban is not the place for you. UI is also really collaborative, especially when it comes to design. You will bounce designs back and forth between designers frequently to get everyone's design input, so if you like having ownership over designs, you won't have it here, as it's a truly collaborative effort.
