Pros
40% discount, commission on every sale, no uniform
Cons
FAVORITISM Discount doesn't kick in until after 3 months Young managers with power trips (thanks to favoritism) , also allows top sellers to act however they want, request any time off and have it approved while others are expected to work up to 10 days in a row Managers tend to cut shifts, even if you're 1st in sales that day, due to "lack of hours" while they're there racking up overtime Promotions are given to people who aren't even committed to the company, hardly do any work and/or don't plan on being with the company long-term Managers do NOT know how to schedule. Schedules constantly change with little or no notice High expectations to sell with little training or slow traffic Little praise when you do sell well, nothing but negative feedback when you don't sell or have a very slow week Training is clearly not a priority...how are you supposed to make a decent sale with little to no product knowledge with all the various products there are LOTS of time consuming tasks which take away from selling All tedious tasking and heavy lifting is left to part timers and assistant store managers Poor product availability Super rude and egotistical head office staff/ regional managers who are ALWAYS on their phones during store visits then criticize everything when they don't know what's going on at the store
