Culture is going down hill - Senior Software Engineer Upvest Employee Review

Good base salary, good office in Berlin. Tech-stack is a bit unusual but in a good/challenging way.

They claim to care about the mental health but that's just the surface. The company comes first - at all cost. Might be the same for most companies, but here it hit me. The senior staff is also pretty pro Russian, which is pretty sad. Not on the surface but the vibe is off. Unfortunately, addressing this did turn out well. Lastly, the company options are rather small. It's defined as VSIP/VSOP which gives them more options to have a cheap exit if needed. Again, the vibe felt off in this company.
