Pros

- Flexible work-from-anywhere dynamic - Generous PTO policy - "Offline Fridays" (No internal or client-facing meetings, minimal to no internal communication, basically an optional workday that I used to catch up on work) - Young, motivated, empathetic, and intellectual coworkers - Uproer is a place to learn new skills, sharpen existing ones, and set up career goals that can ultimately shape your future role at Uproer, almost like a choose your own destiny style employer. - A generally receptive and empathetic management team - Friendly and curious work culture - Fair compensation

Cons

- Honestly, it's pretty hard to find Cons of working here if you are a self-starter. If I had to reach, I would say they could work on addressing the workaholic culture, but that comes with the territory of being a small and growing agency. - Direct and honest feedback systems can be improved - Pay transparency

Pros

There aren't many places that care about their employees the way that Uproer does. Everything from the work-life balance to compensation to career development opportunities is designed to help people thrive. I hadn't experienced that type of environment before, but coming to Uproer and working in a place that is so supportive and encouraging across all teams has been refreshing and rewarding. I've learned so much and gotten to know some wicked smart people who really care about each other and the company itself. Not to mention, the work Uproer produces is top-notch. It feels like a unique blend of big agency expertise with small agency customization & adaptability. It's a fun place to work and to stretch your skills across all aspects of search marketing.

Cons

It is a small agency, which means you will play in a lot of sandboxes, as it were. You will get to explore and hone your own skills, but the teams share a lot, and you'll definitely also get asked to learn and do things you might not have experience with. Curiosity is key, so if you're a self-starter with drive, this is a good place for you.
