Pros
Where to start? You'll work at a company where what you do is both fulfilling and probably confusing for your friends+family to understand, yet so intriguing that they'll continue to try to understand it year-after-year =)
The application process is pretty unique, and it's proven time and again how effective it is to get incredible teammates working here that are insanely skilled at what they do (+insanely skilled in things they weren't even hired for), as well as incredible humans that you feel privileged to get to work with.
Working with our network of fellows + mentors is absolutely inspiring, and supporting the incredible missions of their life's work makes you excited to put your entire self into your work (admittedly, to a fault at times).
It's clear the team and values of this company have been carefully curated over the years with the expectation that if we're not living each and every value than we work together as a team to understand why. We hold each other accountable daily on this, but we also invest the time to collect the feedback of every teammate via Culture Pulse Surveys twice a year and hold all-hands meetings to process the feedback accordingly with a democratic process that allows everyone's voice to be heard.
Cons
I think the benefits, while they have drastically improved over the last 3yrs, are still a work-in-progress. Specifically, some benefits tailored for those with dependents have room for improvement (health coverage options, no FSA). That said, there's also a very flexible + supportive 12wk fully paid parental leave policy.
