Pros
They say some very kind words, and the employees are knowledgeable, sweet, and doing their best.
Cons
This is a growing company, so they are definitely suffering from growing pains. But, this was the most toxic place I’ve ever worked. The processes and systems they are putting into place don’t help make the lives of the employees easier. If anything, they stop them from doing good work because they have to juggle and update multiple systems. This is on top of a relentless workload that never ends. I’m used to working in fast-paced environments, but this was absurd with how many projects they expected you to manage at once while also taking on more. The environment encourages burnout, and it doesn’t help that Leadership doesn’t care about life happening. There’s no empathy or understanding. The company doesn’t even have bereavement leave, let alone sick leave if something happens. There is no training, and you are thrown into the deep end and expected to sink or swim. There are no standards are clear expectations for deliverables. Instead, you put to work immediately, and it is judged by an arbitrary standard. If you mess up, the client suffers. When you ask questions, you don’t get answers or constructive feedback. The entire work environment of this company breeds toxicity, instability, and exhaustion for staff. Leadership likes to say the reasoning behind their actions, but their actions speak volumes over their intentions. They don’t have compassion for their employees, and it shows in their policies and processes as well as the burdens and requests they make of their staff.
