Constantly busy. Employees SEEM nice. I was told there were many opportunities within the organization.
Cons
Under the guise of "organized processes" they are extremely unorganized. You can receive different directions from "leaders" in the department; however, you will be held accountable for not following the directions of the other leaders. Communication is absolutely POOR. You are expected to read the mind of those "in charge" and when you don't "read" correctly...it's your fault. There is juvenile behavior with "leaders" not speaking to subordinates....which is absolutely ridiculous. The pay is NOT commiserate with experience. The "leaders" talk about each other negatively behind each others backs. Contractors are treated as second class citizens...teamwork is suggested; however, contractors are not treated as a part of the team. "Some leaders have experience in the field; however, lack the knowledge needed to comply with government regulations, which leads to shortcuts, inaccurate information, finger pointing, insecurity, and judgement/jealousy of others. Favoritism and nepotism are the norm.
