Pros

People are friendly and approachable and a lot of teamwork and dedication (staff not company)

Cons

- Virtually no pay rise and bonus is pathetic. Also everyone gets the same so ability/ efforts are wasted. - They dont replace staff that have left and just make others absorb their work. - Zero training, oversight and support. - Because of the lack of training junior staff are useless meaning you end up doing their jobs too. Oh and don’t bother complaining because management will defend them and tell you to train them. No-one is ever fired or fails probation. - Not enough people or knowledge to run projects meaning the quality of work is poor which is frustrating. - No info from senior management and very secretive environment. Its clear the company is in trouble but they wont tell anyone what is going on. - As per other reviews yes they did announce you could no longer carry over PTO at the end of Dec when many people already had holidays booked. - Everyone is chronically stressed, crying and taking sick leave. Leaving the company felt like escaping an abusive relationship (really!), you cant leave because they need you but you also cannot cope staying there. Very sad.

Pros

Extremely good team culture. Everyone is helpful and forthcoming. Focused on patient care. Flexible time off. Fully remote and cameras off. Defined process for the most important processes. Amazing how so many people have been with UBC for 10+ years.

Cons

Potential to overwork oneself with back to back to back meetings and heavy client workload.

Pros

It’s just a paycheck until you get on your feet.

Cons

HR is NOT your Friend‼️ Micromanagement Always Changing Abuse of Power Biased You’ll stay in your current role for years without a promotion. UBC proves that Women of Color does have to work 5x harder to be recognized. They offer yearly bonuses but you’ll never see it because every year they’ll come up with some excuse. You’re yearly raises will never be over or near 50 cent so you’ll stay in the same dollar amount for at least three/four years. I’d you try to transfer to another program they’ll write you up and keep you in the same position and program. EEOC ASAP
