Pros
Good benefits (vacation, sick) - but used to be better, Still have a pension (rare) - but used to be better. There's still a few shining lights, but they seem to be diminishing quickly.
Cons
New culture prohibits innovation and promotes bureaucracy. Those who try to implement positive change are subjected to the greatest scrutiny while those who display complacency are continuously rewarded.
