Smaller, family-run business atmosphere. If you are looking for a Fortune 500 corporate feel or a silicon valley start-up vibe with stock options and ipo's, then this may not be a great fit.

Great name recognition...company is a developer of several high-profile, successful projects. Beautiful corporate office close to many conveniences (thruways, dining and shopping). Presents itself as a first-class employer and actively gives back to the community, both in time and money.

Oh but behind the facade...family members in positions they have no business being in, especially the marketing department, which has had so much turnover and failed campaigns it's a joke. Poor communication all around and a big us vs. them mentality between upper management and employees. Very stuffy and conservative atmosphere...elevator music is piped in and it's probably the last workplace on earth not to allow jeans, even on Fridays. Very poor time off policy for the first year.
