Pros

No recommended for a full time

Cons

First in 2024 we had an increase of $15 cents/h which is not competitive at all, making $19.71/h , They send coworkers back home when there are too many workers, they overhire employees and there is no work for everyone, you Can't do your 40/hours weekly. there is racism, favoritism, harassment, no teamwork, no safety, those who do not speak or understand English make the daily work more difficult. there is no good communication or fair opportunities to apply for a higher position. no one cares about employee complaints, they have had to report supervisors for abuse and racism, It can be a good season depending on if you have good supervisors at this station. They made up positions that are not in the job description and there is no training or safety to develop. The flight benefits aren't that great, and the bonuses change depending on season needs. Supervisors and leaders who have favoritism with employees authorize them to work drunk or High

Pros

No pros to working at Unifi. The Airport is beautiful and people are great. Unfortunately the employees work very hard for little pay and support from Unifi.

Cons

The company has significant internal issues that are not adequately addressed by Human Resources. There appears to be a culture of covering up problems rather than resolving them transparently. Leadership seems more focused on employee retention metrics and maintaining appearances with the airlines they serve than on addressing serious workplace concerns and holding individuals accountable. One of the most concerning examples was the handling of a manager who allegedly inappropriately harassed employees over a period of years. Despite ongoing concerns, meaningful action was not taken for years.. Situations like this create an environment where employees lose trust in leadership and feel that workplace misconduct is not taken seriously. This company should prioritize employee safety, accountability, and ethical management. Addressing serious concerns promptly and transparently is essential to retaining good employees and fostering a healthy workplace culture.
