Pros
I'm part of an amazing team! My manager and I are in constant communication, always collaborating and bouncing ideas off each other. My direct reports? They're not just professional and creative—they're genuinely awesome people. I've been with the company for over five years, and I've seen it all: the highs, the lows, and everything in between. We're hitting a bit of a rough patch right now, but I'm absolutely confident we'll emerge stronger and better. We've navigated tough times before, and we'll do it again!
Cons
I find remote working a bit challenging for a few reasons. Firstly, it's sometimes hard to separate work life from home life, which can make it difficult to fully unwind after a long day. Additionally, I miss the spontaneous interactions and quick problem-solving sessions that happen in an office setting. While remote work has its benefits, such as flexibility and saving on commute time, I find the lack of face-to-face communication and the potential for misunderstandings over digital channels to be quite challenging.
