Pros

Many of my coworkers were absolutely wonderful to work with. Their product offerings show a lot of promise within the EdTech industry, it's a cool concept and there's definitely a market need for it.

Cons

This company shows some serious signs of future stability issues. Lots of recent changes in leadership, shuffling of titles and responsibilities, and staff cuts where the open positions are not backfilled. Many team members are saddled with enough work to satisfy two full-time positions, with consolidation of job duties, all without any increases in salary. There's a serious lack of upward mobility within the Customer Success team and there is a huge push to implement major process changes without any demonstrated reason or discussion as to why these major process changes might be beneficial. Departments within the company have felt less collaborative. Certain departments appear to be very disorganized and it's hard to track down answers or assistance for more complex support issues. Leadership appears to be ineffective and disorganized. Certain managers are completely left out of organizational discussions and there's a very noticeable lack of value displayed towards the Customer Support team. Leadership actually referred to Customer Support initiatives as "low hanging fruit".

Cons

- We have teams in two different timezones so occassionally you have to work odd-hours to interact with the teams - This is a startup environment, it takes dedication, long hours and willigness to do tasks outside of your role in order to keep pushing the company forward this is not a sit back and blend in environment you have to be driven, results-oriented, and persistent.
