Pros

Nice colleagues in some departments

Cons

Unqualified top management; – Favoritism; – They call themselves an international company but they are not. They are not open minded and educated enough to use the best world practices; you will not get any new experience and you will not be able to add smth new. Just leave this bubble how it is and do not waste your time; – blame culture; no proper onboarding program and employee development, scheduled 1on1, because they do not know what it is; they just fire people in 1-3 months; if they don’t fire them directly they will make them to leave the company sending toxic and passive aggressive messages, or ignoring them, or isolating them from information and processes, and they will just speak/text in Armenian only. They do not even understand not speaking English with foreign teammates is just unacceptable at normal international companies. – absence of any processes. The company exists 8 years – still feels like a start up in the worst sense of the word; – no benefits they put on their website (gym, “A variety of fun corporate events organized by HR”, Armenian classes and many other things they promise in the beginning). But it’s the lesser evil.

Dear Former Employee, We’re sorry you feel like you had a bad experience at Ucraft. We would have really appreciated it if you had informed us about the problems you faced during your employment and discussed those issues with your team lead and the HR department. Although Ucraft has many employees who are not from Armenia, and we do have another office in the US, we are still a local company on our way to becoming international. Our day-to-day, informal communication between Armenian employees, can be in Armenian. Nonetheless, our business communication is 100% in English - and so is our communication with non-Armenian employees. The benefits we mentioned in our employee package remain available. The gym was under renovation for a couple of months earlier this year. We are very surprised at some of the points mentioned in this feedback since we pride ourselves on being open-minded and giving everybody a fair chance - that’s exactly what the 3-month probation period is for. Nonetheless, thank you for pointing this out. It’s hard for us to hear that you had a negative experience, as we always do our best to provide our employees with a positive working environment. Have a great day!
