Pros

UStalk was my first online ESL job. I started in February of this year and every week after my bookings from students have increased. Presently I average 40-50 classes a week and this comes out to be a nice extra income every month. I could possibly go up to 50-60 if I opened more time slots on weekends. The pay is always on time . The technicians here are the best when you have tech issues during a class and management has been great. I know many of the teachers here personally and it has a small family feel that I think is difficult to find in other online schools. The material is fun and dynamic and the kids are great. I love the contests we have and the charitable work that UStalk does in China in orphanages and rural areas where resources are scarce. I am proud to work here and hope to continue into the future. Don't let the negative reviews discourage you. There will always be negative reviews of any company that has many employees as it is near impossible to make everyone happy. What I can say for sure, is that there are very many happy teachers here and chances are if you are a skilled online teacher, you will be happy too working at UStalk.

Cons

There are a few tech issues with the platform and the company has had a few growing pains which is to be expected with a new start- up company. On the other hand, they are working constantly to correct the issues that arise and offer a better teaching as well as learning experience.
