      Pros

      An excellent place to learn the database technologies in depth. Challenging work. Employees cared for while USi was still USi (not yet acquired by AT&T still).

      Cons

      Office politicking. Few employees are fake and are still surviving and flourishing as they have the blessings of senior people. A number of facilities withdrawn after being acquired by AT&T.

      Pros

      USi is great about allowing work from home. It was a small company which allowed exposure to many levels of leadership and high visibility of project successes.

      Cons

      USi often was misleading with bonus payouts. They would have a target of 10-20% but only payout 3-5% - this was consistent over five years.
