Pros

U.S. Cellular has a solid company culture. The values and behaviors are constantly talked about. Great benefits, decent pay. Feedback is sought to make improvements for the front line associates. Customer service is top notch. It's good to work for a company I can be proud of.

Cons

Lack of work/life balance. Retail hours = late nights, weekends, holidays. As a manager, I put in way more than 40 hours a week. The sales managers put in a lot of extra hours on conference calls, meetings, conducting trainings, and filling in on the sales floor. There is a lot of micro management from everybody above me. The ASM's and Store Managers give us tons of tasks to complete all at one time because they are sometimes out of touch with what is happening on the sales floor.
