Pros

Flexible Hours, Accommodating to change in family situations and time off

Cons

Pay, Pay, Pay, was told when I was hired and told that the contract will only allow a pay of 45k amount per year, but not a year later the company hires a new person unfamiliar with the project and pay them over 60k per year. I have also noticed that if you are from India and you have a college degree, you get paid what your degree says you should be making, but if you have the same degree and are from the US you do not get paid what your degree says you should be paid. Or of you have two degrees in CS or a Masters in CS, you will not be paid anywhere close to what your degree says you should be paid. I have seen two really good Analyst leave the group because of pay and the company did nothing to try and keep them, not even match their new offer letter, but instead they will hire someone with no experience in the ingredient and pay them more than those of us with the same degree and experience. I have noticed that this company tends to favor people from India than they do their US employees.

Pros

I have been associated with UST for almost 12 years, starting my journey as a Tester and currently serving as a Senior Project Manager. Looking back, the growth opportunities provided by the organization have been remarkable. One of the biggest strengths of UST is its people-first culture. The leadership team is approachable, supportive, and genuinely invested in employee success. Throughout my career, I have received continuous encouragement to take on new responsibilities, learn new skills, and move into leadership roles. The company places significant emphasis on employee well-being, work-life balance, and professional development. I have had opportunities to work across different domains, engage with global clients, and grow both technically and managerially. What makes UST special is the trust it places in its employees and the collaborative culture that exists across teams. It’s a place where dedication and performance are recognized, and individuals are given opportunities to shape their own career paths

Cons

As with any large organization, some processes could be streamlined for faster decision-making.
