Pros

Location advantage if you are a mallu , for people who wants to get in to IT industry UST offers a good prospect ( average pay max 20K INR PM for programmers, i was in finance i know the figures)

Cons

Lot of internal politics , and favoritism by the management , if you please them be sure to go up to an extent , Lot of mallu managers ( with really bad people management skills) but somehow these people are at top ( mid managers) , for a similar profile in finance( it's the same profile) a guy from IIMK was offered 11 lakh per annum and a Kerala B school guy (4-5 lakhs) the iim guy didn't join bye the way :-p

Pros

I have been associated with UST for almost 12 years, starting my journey as a Tester and currently serving as a Senior Project Manager. Looking back, the growth opportunities provided by the organization have been remarkable. One of the biggest strengths of UST is its people-first culture. The leadership team is approachable, supportive, and genuinely invested in employee success. Throughout my career, I have received continuous encouragement to take on new responsibilities, learn new skills, and move into leadership roles. The company places significant emphasis on employee well-being, work-life balance, and professional development. I have had opportunities to work across different domains, engage with global clients, and grow both technically and managerially. What makes UST special is the trust it places in its employees and the collaborative culture that exists across teams. It’s a place where dedication and performance are recognized, and individuals are given opportunities to shape their own career paths

Cons

As with any large organization, some processes could be streamlined for faster decision-making.
