Pros
Invaluable knowledge of insurance and how it works. Really felt like you're helping people understand the value of insurance, weigh options, and assist when things go sideways.
Cons
No raises. Told that they "couldn't be given" but later discovered that many employees have been without raises for years. Learned later that other departments get yearly raises every July. Inappropriate work conversations, beyond jokes and laughs, could be heard by those on the phone, but manager did nothing to address the problem.
