Pros

There are a few good people to work with.

Cons

If you're looking for a place to grow and learn, this employer is not for you. Leadership is completely afraid of the executive director who thrives off creating conflict in the work place. If you have an opinion, this is not the place to work as you'll quickly become an outcast. Same goes for if you're not a "bowler." You'll see very little diversity here and even less initiative to bring in anyone else that isn't a bowler or someone in the "old boys club." A very mismanaged, dramatic and all-around unhealthy place to work. Pay isn't even close to competitive for all the politics and drama that one has to endure when working at USBC. and the culture is even worse. For a company that continually harps on how great the culture is, they are certainly quick to make fun of people who bring new ideas to the table and enforce outdated HR policies with an iron fist. Don't just turn away from this employer...RUN!!!

Pros

I can’t really think of any. It was a consistent paycheck, if anything.

Cons

- Old school mentality with no flexibility. - Perks and benefits are inconsistently distributed, often favoring certain individuals. - If you’re not part of the “inner circle”, you’re treated poorly. - Leadership is toxic, often speaking badly about employees behind their backs. - Expectations are unrealistically high, with poor treatment, communication, support and compensation. - Leadership makes promises they never intend to keep. - Micromanaging is excessive and stifling. - Absolutely ZERO growth opportunities. You’ll be stuck where you’re at forever.
