Pros

There's an office dog you can pet. This poor dog is 9 year old black lab and living in the cold office 24/7. He is starting to have health and mobility issues. The owners care little about him, the employees have to beg to take him to the vet. The only joy in his life is from 9-6pm when he has (limited) human interaction. Although, we would try and walk him as much as we could.

Cons

At the time I was hired, USA Link System was portrayed as a fun, carefree, modern tech-company; which, it is anything but. The boss is controlling, manipulative, disrespectful, and two-faced. The office was under constant verbal abuse from the owner. The employees are being monitored and micro-managed. Much of her and her company's work is stolen or plagiarized (purposely). The owner claims to have an open-door policy; however, voicing your concerns, or giving your opinion, leads to belittling your intelligence and contemplating your worth. This company has no benefits, it pays non-living wages, and if you accept a salary position, be ready to have no home life. The level of disrespect for her employees is unprecedented. Because of this, the company retention rate is truly poor. The company and the owner (in particular) are constantly trying to replace employees instead of improving their practices. Owner also does not promote from within the company. Raises? Good luck.

Pros

- Management is supportive of your needs. If you need specific accommodations to perform to the best of your ability, you'll most likely get it. - Great company culture which includes paid staff lunches from time to time, fun office and zoom games, etc. - Work closely with the management team so you get the experience of working with upper management. - Great way to develop your skills as someone who is growing their career - Flexibility with work and due dates which is always a positive in order to achieve the best results for the business - Consistent pay raises - Overall great people here, nicest people I've worked with in a long time. Maybe ever.

Cons

- Workload can be a bit high so need to keep yourself organized and accountable, which is also due to limited staff members - Some employees are overseas so there is a slight language barrier - Pay is ok compared to the surrounding area and also there are no benefits (dental and medical). There is PTO and sick pay, however.
