Pros
The work is challenging and not routine. There is no bordom here because the work is constantly changing, trying to give the war fighter what they need, when they need it, and allow them to do their job and get back safely. The job is very secure and the benefits are good. Everyone you work with are professionals. You are also allowed to work a compressed work schedule so that you get to have every other Friday off.
Cons
They pay might not be as much as private industry but at least the job is secure. Sometimes there seems to be more red tape to get something done then it would be for private industry.
