If you don't have education and work experience, but are intelligent and got good grades in school this is a great way to get all the work experience you could ever want, and more. Top notch benefits and great pay.
Cons
You will live on the boat one out of every 3 days, and then be prepared to stay for a full workday after. 80-100 hour workweeks as standard. Long hours, on the boat all the time, close minded and reactive leadership, really just an awful terrible place to work. Near the end I couldn't wait to get out.
