Corruption and mismanagement are common, and it is a "good ole boy" club. There is favoritism, and the office environment can be toxic. The front door to our office has been broken for three months, and it is good that no one is in a wheelchair because they wouldn't be able to get in. The heritage department does not have funding and takes scraps from the other departments. Your value as a department is treated accordingly. The fire department is overrepresented and difficult to listen to. The office is an "open" concept, meaning there is no visual or audio privacy. They use keystrokes and other invasive monitoring and want "everyone back to the office." The locals are rude and fake people. The locals are Trump humpers.
