      Pros

      Great rewarding job, you get to protect the planet! You can convert to permanent after you have about 4 to 5 seasons completed! If you have a degree you can convert to permanent faster! Lots of opportunity for promotions to a higher pay grade if your willing to move around.

      Cons

      Dealing with bureaucrats slows down project work from being completed. Communication from supervisors is not the best.

      Pros

      Overall the people are top-notch and passionate about what they do and the job was interesting and never boring. Leadership was pretty great too compared to other Federal Agencies where it is not.

      Cons

      Not the best pay and Burns Oregon was a terrible place to live. The locals were a miserable bunch, the nearest Wal-Mart was 3.5 hours away and there were no rentals.

      Sometimes unpleasant working conditions, erratic seasonal planning and unclear job description
