Pros

The salary is fairly decent. The benefits are still fairly decent even though they keep getting worse and worse. The location is pretty close to my home.

Cons

The overall culture of the company is terrible. Horrible communication across the board. Peer to peer, management to managed -- just horrible. The customer-facing systems in place are terrible, too. They also don't reward hard-work. The only behavior they reward is butt-kissing.

Pros

401k is good Benefits got more affordable

Cons

The biggest con is what must these big companies fail to focus on. Money. If to ask, even if you document measurable results ,that i spent a long time composing. You are told that other mechanics get the same or around the same pay. Then say no. Going the extra mile everyday, doesn't get you anything . Yes it's pay. We start a little better than market. But don't go up from there. Yes not right. Not we cannot get any overtime to make up for the lack of raise . It forces good mechanics out . Also they focus way to much on irrelevant things like dei etc .it should be the work you do not what you look like.
