Pros
serving our country... work hard and you will get promoted- it's like anything else though... you have to be focused on your goals, etc
Cons
It depends on the job obviously, but for me, I get tired of sitting at a computer. I would rather do something more physical. However, I fully recognize that I wouldn't want to be deployed 15 months with the army either- and I have all the respect in the world for those guys.
