Long hours, tough job, garbage upper leadership, constantly being treated like a child, and the horrid actions which the USAF performs all over the world
Laid back environment get your work done and you can coast.

Appraisals are off of the buddy system more often than not i.e. if you went to the same college as your supervisor you’ll likely get good scores if not good luck.
Getting 2.5days of accrued leave per month is nice, which adds up over time. You can request leave whenever within your schedule and it won't be denied.
Cons
Not too much structure when it comes to squadron training. Depends on your squadron but leadership can really determine your experience.
