      A job you can be proud of. You get to make a difference in the world. Great people. Diverse workforce. Great development opportunities both personal and professional. Travel.

      Cons

      Deployments are rough on family life. The Air Force does as good a job as possible making deployments predictable and taking care of family while you are away.

      Laid back environment get your work done and you can coast.

      Cons

      Appraisals are off of the buddy system more often than not i.e. if you went to the same college as your supervisor you’ll likely get good scores if not good luck.
