Pros
major team spirit - the sites really are a family unit, and nationally there are always opportunities to get site reps together, from awards to organising charitable events. Each site is visited regularly by the top dogs, who make a genuine effort to speak to every person they see individually - rare! They advertise nationally vacancies within the company first, so you get dibs if you want to progress, and they dish out awards at site level and nationally, along with bonuses for hard workers nominated by colleagues and management.
Cons
The pay is not the best, sadly, despite the 2.5% annual pay rise guaranteed. Whilst they arrange for staff to attend a lot of 'talks' on important things like mental health or H&S, there is a lack of internal training opportunities that could lead to progression.
