      Pros

      I have been with Supervalu for five years. The pay is fair.

      Cons

      I support a corporate retail banner. The company continues to be challenged by increased competition because they do not respond quickly to trends in order to stay relevant. They are continuous layoffs and org restructures. The last CEO was only here for 2 years. The work environment is stressful and their is limited opportunity for growth and development. There is no consistent 401K Match.

      Some good people work here

      Cons

      It Management team has been together for years and resists any change. 100% top down. Personal initiative is not overly welcome. Too many of the less senior managers know nothing practical.
