Though I was made to feel safe to share my honest perspectives, I absolutely was not. I was let go less than one week after I shared information that was damaging to certain individuals at this company.
The only reason I was given for them letting me go was that they had planned poorly. First, the CEO was saying how I was too slow, but as I dug and asked a lot of questions, he quickly changed his tune to "we made a mistake and I am so sorry." Yes, you did make a mistake. I support my entire family and I trusted you erroneously.
It is an on-boarding task for new employees to write a Glassdoor review, which is why you see so many, "I worked here less than a year." This removes any sense of autonomy in writing a review and in my opinion, it undermines the purpose of Glassdoor.
They recently laid off four excellent employees, all of whom had already written reviews here that were super positive (makes sense, right?).
