Pros

In calendar year 2015, WHS has undergone significant change from a leadership perspective. What was once a stressful and unproductive environment has been replaced with one of renewed optimism, commitment, and responsibility. Even the approach to software development has undergone a radical change, moving from an iterative waterfall approach to Agile, using SAFe as the framework. Our Marketing and Sales teams have never been stronger. Senior Leadership is addressing issues in a direct, proactive manner, which is a one-eighty from the past.

Cons

Not so much a con as a realization that change--of which WHS is still undergoing--is not easy. This is not a place to strive for mediocrity, or for those wanting to go unnoticed.

Pros

UL solution was my first office job and engineering experience. It did not disappoint, and got me excited for my future, The HR and hiring team were all so nice and helpful throughout my internship. My managers were helpful, patient, and understanding when I had a family emergency near the end of my internship that forced me to leave the country temporary. The internship showed the various departments in the company, not just the one we had applied for. Would definitely recommend anyone to apply for them.

Cons

UL solutions is focused in certifications and safety, so if you are expecting projects involving development and design this is not the place, We had to do a breakdown on products and perform tests to ensure it meets standards of safety.
