Pros
Great people employed by UL The most part. They are smart and eager to do the right thing without cutting corners. The work is rewarding and there is always something new to learn.
Cons
Management is one of the big drawbacks at Underwriters labs inc. They expect employees to do incoming producing work without proper tools. Too many meetings to tick a check mark in their goals. Everyone complains - but can't let management know because they don't know how to accept criticism. There is a lot of cronyism. They find creative ways to reduce your ranking so they can take bonus money away from you and reward their favorites. Too much things to do that do not add to the bottom line.
