Pros

Flex time in certain positions, nice campus. Most other pros are things of the past.

Cons

Performance reviews depend on whether or not your manager likes you, not your actual performance. Steady acquisition of other companies while telling employees that the company can't afford merit increases. Employee appreciation efforts increasingly revealed to be lip service. Management decided that sales support staff could be turned into actual sales staff with sales quotas, but gave no apparent consideration to each employees actual strengths and abilities. Customers who had a bad experience with one office are no longer given the option to work with a different office. Benefits and perks are gradually worsening or disappearing altogether. Management seems to be addicted to change. Voicing even constructive concerns about a change gets you labeled as a troublemaker. Managers who get caught in immoral activities with married subordinates get little more than a slap on the wrist. Employees are generally treated like grade schoolers instead of the professional adults they are. If you want to get ahead, you had best pucker up. Otherwise, you won't get ahead.

Pros

Strong brand reputation and credibility in the marketplace. Excellent opportunity to gain experience in sales, compliance, testing, certification, and regulatory industries. Friendly, knowledgeable, and collaborative colleagues who are willing to help each other succeed. Good work-life balance compared to many sales organizations. Stable business with diverse industries and customers. Professional development opportunities and exposure to complex customer challenges.

Cons

Typical large-company bureaucracy can slow decision-making and execution. Internal processes and approvals may require patience and persistence. Organizational complexity can sometimes create challenges when navigating cross-functional initiatives. Career progression may occasionally depend on understanding and adapting to corporate dynamics.
