Pros
Great work envrionment. You can pretty much do whatever you want depending who your boss is. As long as you get work done. Lots of experience that work here. There are a lot of lifers that work here and there is a good reason why. The stability and work are always constant
Cons
Dead end career not much in advancement as a Lab Guy unless you know someone. The pay sucks but the type of work you do depends on how much you get compensated. Lab Techs are treated as the lowest of the low. Similar to the mililtary, we are considered the enlisted part of the company while engineers and management are the officers. Old timer attitudes, just because you have been working here for 30+ years doesn't mean you have to act like a prick.
