Pros

Good CEO - honest, Quarterly reports how the company is doing. M-F hours, no weekends unless OT is offered. Quarterly bonus if you make your quarter. 5th bonus offered if you make your yearly quarter. Good company.

Cons

You have to do your own reviews that you later discuss with your manager (at the beginning of the year) - this is what your raise is based on. Some managers are harder than others in Sales.

Pros

UL solution was my first office job and engineering experience. It did not disappoint, and got me excited for my future, The HR and hiring team were all so nice and helpful throughout my internship. My managers were helpful, patient, and understanding when I had a family emergency near the end of my internship that forced me to leave the country temporary. The internship showed the various departments in the company, not just the one we had applied for. Would definitely recommend anyone to apply for them.

Cons

UL solutions is focused in certifications and safety, so if you are expecting projects involving development and design this is not the place, We had to do a breakdown on products and perform tests to ensure it meets standards of safety.
